Adam Milstein is a real estate businessman who was born in Haifa Israel. He was the first born to his parents Eva and Hillel Milstein. Adam’s father was an immigrant from Argentina and was in the real estate industry while his mother was originally from Mexico. Adam grew up in Israel, and in 1971 he joined the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) and participated in 1973 Yom Kippur war. Adam Milstein later enrolled in Technion – Israel Institute of Technology where he did a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics in 1978.
Adam’s Life and his Influence on the Israeli- American Community
Adam Milstein married Gila Elgrably in 1974 at Haifa and had two daughters before moving to the United States in 1981. Moreover, Adam advanced his studies and received his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Southern California in 1983. He then started his career as a sales agent in the commercial real estate.
Currently, Adam Milstein is not only a real estate businessman but an active philanthropist and a community leader. He is a managing partner of a private commercial real estate firm known as Hager Pacific Properties. The company invests in the real estate markets of the United States where it deals with the development of properties. Some of its portfolio includes the development of warehouses, apartments, shopping centers and many more.
Further, in 2000 Adam together with his wife founded the ‘Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation’. Their motive towards the establishment of the foundation was driven by Adam’s philanthropic nature to sponsor students and instill knowledge of the Jewish culture. Additionally, the couple also co-founded SifriyatPijamaB’America that provides free monthly books written in Hebrew to the Israeli-Jewish American families.
Adam Milstein is also a co-founder of the Israeli- American Council which is a Jewish organization. What’s more, he sits on some of the boards associated with the Israeli- American organizations including Israel on Campus Coalition, Jewish Funders Network, Stand with us, among others. Equally important, Adam was declared as one of the top 100 people positively influencing the Jewish life in the year 2016.
