"This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn't go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? We all are sinners; we all fall short of perfection in one way or another. God did not send Jesus to tell us how imperfect and bad we are. God sent Jesus to save us from a lost and dying world.

Through His death and resurrection, He has given us a new beginning and a new hope.

No sin is too great for the grace of Jesus. No curse is too powerful for his majesty.

In the scripture above, there is one thing that we must do to receive Jesus as our savior. We must be willing to believe.

• We must believe that He truly is the son of the most High God.
• We must believe that Jesus was born of the virgin, Mary.
• That He died on a cross to pay for every sin of every man, woman and child.
• That He arose from the grave after three days.
• That He sits at the right hand of God right now as our intercessor.
• That we, through Christ and Christ only can join Him as brothers and sisters, joint heirs in heaven someday, and live eternally with the One who would rather die for you than live without you.  

Believing is another way of becoming faithful to God. If you believe the above statements, then you are ready to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior. It is as easy as saying this prayer of acceptance.

Jesus I believe you are the son of God and that you died for me, to save me from all my sins. I ask you now to forgive me of all the sin, every wrong in my life. I ask you to come into my life as the Holy Spirit to lead and guide my life. I ask that you would help me overcome my past and accept that your blood paid the price that has made my soul clean and new. I trust you and believe that you love me and will never leave me. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

You have just prayed a prayer that has set you free. God does not remember your past anymore. As you prayed that prayer, Jesus took his blood and added your name to the Lamb’s book of life. It is as real as the air you breathe if you will only trust and believe.

He will stop at nothing to lead you away from God. However, he can never take you away from Christ. Christ takes up full time residence in believers. He will never leave you even if you feel unworthy and miserable. He is with you always. Those are His written words and not mine.
