When Dr. AviWeisfogel was at New York University School of Dentistry working towards his DDS, he became aware of a link between dental care and the treatment of patients that have breathing-related sleep problems. When he opened Old Bridge Dental Care in 1999, he continued to work on ways to treat sleep disorders. In the 16 years he ran Old Bridge Dental, in addition to providing excellent dental care, Dr. Weisfogel treated a large number of patients with sleep problems. He was also able to come up with a number of very effective and innovative treatment methods to help them.
The work Dr. AviWeisfogel done has allowed many other dentists to help a growing number of patients with sleep disorders. Dentists throughout the United States and worldwide have been able to expand their practices with his assistance. He has also helped them to set up sleep labs to get a better understanding of the needs of patients that have trouble getting healthy, restful sleep. Dr. Weisfogel’s work has also been a great help to often neglected patients that are struggling with sleep issues. And he shows no sign of slowing down. In order to get the word out about how dentists can help sleep disturbed patients, Dr. Weisfogel has founded a series of organizations. His first dental practice was Old Bridge Dental Care which he started in 1999. Through this award winning practice he not only offered excellent treatment to people with a wide range of dental issues, he also provided treatment for sleep patients. Then in 2010 he created Healthy Heart Sleep. He followed that with Owner Unlimited Sleep Patient in 2012. Dental Sleep Masters was another organization which he opened in 2014. They have helped to get many more dentists involved in treating patients with sleep issues.
Through his lectures and the wide range of support services he provides Dr. Weisfogel has helped many dentists worldwide to expand their practices and use dental appliances to bring relief to many patients with sleep disorders.
