Entrepreneur Dr, Avi Weisfogel Steps Into Treating Sleep Disorders

Recently, Avi Weisfogel was interviewed on Ideamenish, which allows entrepreneurs to share their experience and creativity in their specific fields. Dr. Weisfogel has made tremendous strides in the dental sleep field by addressing sleep disorders and sleep apnea. He has founded several offices in the Old Bridge, New Jersey area, and he continues to work with his wife in Dental Sleep Masters.

 Dr. Weisfogel’s Career

Dr. Weisfogel has always been interested in treating sleep disorders. He attended Rutgers University and earned BAs in both biology and psychology, and then went on to graduate from New York University College of Dentistry with a DDS degree. Avi Weisfogel at Facebook .

In 1999, he founded Old Bridge Dental Care in Old Bridge, NJ, and over the 15 years that he managed the office, Old Bridge earned several awards in the community as “Best Dentist.” During this time, Dr. Weisfogel used his education in psychology to begin researching sleep issues and how physicians could help their patients with better sleep.

Stress is known to be a great contributor to not sleeping well, and Dr. Weisfogel took that into consideration as he began to work with other physicians around the world in establishing and managing sleep labs. In 2010, he founded Healthy Heart Sleep to form a central company to advise physicians.

In 2012, Dr. Avi founded Unlimited Sleep Patients where he could hold lectures for physicians. In 2014, he opened Dental Sleep Masters to treat sleep apnea patients with oral devices, and he also shares his knowledge with other dentists in this area.

After opening four offices to benefit his patients, Dr. Avi shares that he is able to accomplish so much because he starts every day with an hour of prayer. He says that he can then stay centered and focused on the work ahead.

He also shared that he stays on track by visualizing and then writing everything down, For instance, it was his interest in sleep disorders that led him to combine his dentistry to treat sleep apnea.
