Shaygan Kheradpir is a primed business and technology executive who has studied at Cornell University. Kheradpir graduated with bachelors, doctorate, and master’s degree in electrical engineering. He has worked at senior capacity in various organizations including Verizon and Barclays. Kheradpir is responsible for some of the major mobile system developments such as FiOS when at Verizon.
Kheradpir was also the pioneer of a system known as Pingit that he developed at Barclays. Kheradpir helped in developing another program known as Transform when at Barclays. While working at Juniper Networks, he has helped in deploying Integrated Operating Plan.
Kheradpir first began his career at GTE Corporation. This corporate later formed a merger with a company called Bell Atlantic. And, it’s from this merger where Verizon was born in 2000. Kheradpir has worked for Verizon for close to 11 years since 2001.
At Verizon, Kheradpir was both a Chief Information Officer as well as Chief Technology Officer. During his tenure at Verizon, he worked closely with a team of more than 7000 staff who contributed immensely in the growth of the company. The team supported IT systems and developed new products such as Verizon One and Iobi.
Kheradpir helped Verizon to develop a wider telecommunications platform including automation of the company’s operations. He headed a team consisting of close to 7000 staff who helped in supporting IT systems and in development of new products including Iobi and Verizon One. He had a strategy of forming smaller teams that took the role of developing products.
The team he headed has been renowned for its great achievements in providing rapid tests and creating new advanced technologies to take Verizon to greater heights. Kheradpir ensured that his working team had a very conductive work environment. He also managed to have a record track in delivery of new products—this has been a great achievement for Verizon.
Among other achievements he made when at Verizon is developing a strategic plan that helped the company to lower its expenses on technology innovations by about 30 percent. Kheradpir worked with Barclays from 2011 to 2013.
When he left Barclays, he joined Juniper Networks in 2014. Juniper Networks operates as a networking company in Silicon Valley. Kheradpir has helped change organizations by transforming the workforce and creating changes that improve investor and customer relationship.
In his previous work at Barclays, he was the head of various sections including business, corporate, retail, investment, and wealth. He brought change in the bank’s working environment and transformed its cultural sphere. Kheradpir helped digitize the banks operations and bring in innovativeness that march those of the 21st century. Other innovative products he delivered for the bank were such as Cloudit.
At Verizon, Kheradpir helped in negotiating with vendors and seeking cheaper workforce. He could outsource for workforce from India and assisted in improvement of the company’s IT assets. Kheradpir has a wealth of experience in tapping the potential of a workforce and bringing in innovative IT solutions that change the performance of organizations.
