The Minnesota Timberwolves
officially have the worst record in the National Basketball Association, but that’s not to say they are truly the worst team in basketball. They have a lot of young talent on their roster
stated Gianfrancesco Genoso, with Andrew Wiggins leading the pack. He is probably going to get the highly coveted rookie of the year award and this season is going to wrap up as a year of learning for the young superstar. It may be a good thing in the end, as it may be a better path to learn how to lose before you learn how to win in the best basketball league in the world. It isn’t phasing him, however, as he has had truly great games over the last several weeks, despite the consistent losses that are being inflicted upon the Timberwolves. The Wolves have had game after game where they lost by several points and they nearly took down the Cleveland Cavaliers last week, who are currently on the longest winning streak in the NBA at eleven wins in a row, after the Atlanta Hawks dropped a game last night to the Pelicans and ended their streak. They followed that up by narrowly losing a game to the Dallas Mavericks on Monday night, in a game that looked like Minnesota might pull it off. Things are systematically getting better for the Timberwolves and for Andrew Wiggins. It is just a matter of time before everything is smoothed out.
