Dr. Rod Rohrich

 

Dr. Rod Rohrich raised in North Dakota is a renown plastic surgeon and academic department chairman. With more than two decades of experience, his procedures are able to improve appearances that range in a variety of surgeries. His surgeries will improve features in cosmetics, trauma, birth defects, and even disease. He performs surgeries on patients from all walks of life. The girl next door or a Hollywood super star are on his list of people that he has served. His philosophy is treating each patient the same and with safe and effective care. He has over seven hundred published articles and and five textbooks on the subject of plastic surgery. He also holds the patent to a breast implant surgery. He has been recognized for his contributions in the field of plastic surgery and education. He has also been recognized for his work in facial aesthetics and aging. He receives recognition nationally, internationally, and locally. He has been featured in media that includes Allure, CNN, Oprah, Newsweek, and even more.

Dr. Rohrich competed his postgraduate and undergraduates with the highest honors from The University of North Dakota and North Dakota State University. He went on to receive a medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine, again graduating with honors. He then received residencies in general surgery and plastic surgery from The University of Michigan Medical Center. He furthers his studies receiving training in pediatric surgery from Oxford University in England. He also completed hand and microvascular fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital Harvard Medical School. He later joins The Division of Plastic Surgery at Utah Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas Texas in 1986. Dr. Rohrich believes in giving back by doing charity and foundation work. He has done over two thousand scientific presentations around the world on all aspects of plastic surgery. He plays a large role in teaching the net generation of plastic surgeons how to become effective reconstructive surgeons. His work and legacy is active today and will live on.
